Tonight's game between Love and Adam has been pulled from the schedule. The reason is about as rare as it gets: Adam's roster currently lists zero players at any position. No quarterback, no running back, no receivers, nothing at all on the depth chart. The league has no mechanism to kick off a game that only one side can actually field, so the matchup is postponed until further notice.

Every other team around the league walked into this week with a full lineup. Logan has his guy at every spot. So does Connor, Micah, Timmy, and Landon. Even Love, undefeated in thirteen straight before today, has never had trouble filling out a depth chart. Adam is the outlier — a franchise with a front office, a schedule, a 0-2 record against Love, and, as of tonight, nobody to put on the field.

"You can't lose a game you can't play."

There's no timetable for a makeup date. League sources say the postponement stays in effect until Adam actually finds a roster, however long that takes. In the meantime, his other job isn't going anywhere: Adam is still on the hook to coach Logan's game as normal, headset on, even with no helmet of his own to wear tonight.

Whether Adam gets his roster together by next week or this drags on longer, one thing is already true: he's 0-2 against Love and still hasn't found a way to even get to 0-3.
